Q: How long do they last?
A: Our lifetime Galvanized Steel corners and fittings are made of 1-7/8" O.D. 16 gage thick wall metal pipe. The legs and roof rafters are made with 1-5/8" O.D. 16 gage thick wall galvanized pipe. This is the same pipe used for Cyclone chain-link fencing, so it is made to withstand weather and lasts many years. The cover material comes with 2 year, 5 year, and 10 year prorated warranty. The 2 year usually last 5-7 years, the 5 year last 12-15 plus, and the 10 year last 20 plus years.
Q: Can they take the wind and snow?
A: Our Shelters do well in severe snow and wind conditions when they are installed properly. We build them with extra rafters and a stepper pitched roof than most shelters. We anchor the shelter to concrete or pavement with bolted metal foot pads or strong metal "T" posts driven into the ground and U-bolted to the metal framework, insuring stability in windy conditions.
